Changelog

What changed in each version.

1.3.02026-08-30
  • When a song ends it starts over on its own, counting you back in every time — so you hear it begin again instead of watching the playhead jump.
  • Switch to another app and back: the backing track and metronome no longer go silent.
  • The guitar has a new set of samples, so a slide between two notes is a finger moving along the string, not two notes stitched together.
1.2.02026-08-27
  • Practice and video trimming now work like a viewfinder: the selection stays put and the waveform slides underneath, so one thumb is enough.
  • A visual pass over rehearsal, practice, charting and room setup — what matters got brighter, the rest got out of the way.
  • On iPad the lead sheet sets chords a size larger and colours them by scale degree, readable a step back from the stand.
  • Rehearsal's NEXT cue now fires when a section has five seconds left, which tracks what you actually need to know.
  • Subscriptions add a yearly plan, cheaper than twelve months of monthly. Existing monthly subscribers are unaffected.
1.1.02026-08-25
  • New "Lead sheet" view in rehearsal: one line per lyric, chords above the words, the current line pinned to the top.
  • Lyrics support pickup bars, so a phrase can start before the barline.
  • Joining someone's room and video practice are now free; AI transcription moves to the subscription, on-device stem separation stays free.
  • Stem separation uses half the memory, so long songs no longer quit partway.
  • Joining by room code now fails fast with a reason instead of spinning forever.
1.0.12026-08-22
  • Chord detection got a new brain: a neural model, much more accurate, about ten seconds per song.
  • It no longer needs stem separation first — open a track, get a chart; split it into stems later.
  • Bars no longer sprout a phantom second chord, intros stop getting swallowed, and sections land on 8 and 16 bars.
  • When the model can't tell 8 bars from 16, the new "Redo sections" button lets you say which it is.
  • Flipped major/minor can be rewritten in the relative key; exported PDFs carry the OverDrive wordmark.

  • On-device stem separation and chord detection, looping at 0.5×–1.5× without pitch change.
